*Note: if you have ever applied medically for this plan, the FPA (147789) or FSP (649419) group LTD plans and you were declined, medical underwriting is required to apply for this plan regardless of any open enrollment periods.

These group disability plans will offset any amount you receive or are eligible to receive because of your disability under another group insurance coverage.

NAPFA MEMBER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

You must be a dues paying member of NAPFA working at least 20 hours/week in one of these categories: NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor | NAPFA Associate | Student Affiliate.  New NAPFA members have 60 days from their date of membership to enroll, guaranteed acceptance, no medical questions asked.  If you are a member longer than 60 days you can still apply, but medical underwriting is required. You can enroll even if your employees do not.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYEES OF NAPFA MEMBERS

You must be employed by an eligible NAPFA member and working at least 20 hours/week. You must have been employed for at least 90 days to be eligible, you then have 60 days to enroll, guaranteed acceptance. If you are employed longer than 90 days + 60 days you can apply, but medical underwriting is required. You can apply for coverage even if your employer does not.

You must be employed by an eligible NAPFA member and working at least 20 hours/week. You must be employed for at least one full calendar year to be eligible for the term life coverage. On the one year anniversary of your employment you can apply within the next 60 days, guaranteed acceptance. You can still apply if you are employed longer than one year and 60 days, but medical underwriting is required.  If eligible, you can apply for coverage even if your employer does not.

GROUP DISABILITY INCOME UPDATE

Group LTD participants anre required to report their income annually and adjust plan benefits accordingly. No medical underwriting is required. Click on your plan, complete the form and submit your update electronically.
